Information Avantasia at Sonisphere Festival 2013, Madrid

Sonisphere festival Madrid Barcelona Avantasia KiskeAvantasia played in two festivals of Sonisphere Festival, in Madrid and Barcelona. In Madrid they played at Auditorio Miguel Rios, Rivas Vaciamadrid (30.000 people) and in Barcelona at Parc Del Forum (30.000 people).

Open doors: 15:00 / First show at: 15:15h. Audience: 27.896 people.

Avantasia will play with Iron Maiden for their tour 'Maiden England', the VHS released in 1989 with footage of 'Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour' of 1988. It's funny that Iron Maiden will play that songs with Avantasia because they were very well accompanied in part of that tour of 1988.

This is the little statement about Avantasia:

"..the Germans Avantasia (Power Metal Opera, leaded by Tobias Sammet of Edguy)..."

Comments about the show

Oliver Hartmann published on his facebook account before the show: "After a photo session with HARTMANN last week done by Peter Hawk we are back on tour right now with AVANTASIA to play the two Sonisphere festivals in Madrid and Barcelona today and tomorrow. We spent some time off in the nice "Parque Del Buen Retiro" in Madrid today and now look forward to our show tonight - which is starting at 1:45 am!!!"

Michael Kiske commented to Kiske Fanclub: "Unfortunately we played very late, so they were gone when I arrived. I usually don’t hang around much on festivals. Just show up right before and leave again after the show. I would have loved to say hi to Rod Smallwood (their manager) especially."
