Tobias: "I wanna put on the biggest thing you have ever seen, I wanna bring more vocalists, play longer shows, and just make it a giant Rock Opera. Due to embracing all of the different eras and history of AVANTASIA these shows will have an extended playing time, and the whole evening will be dedicated to Avantasia with no support acts. The stage designer has just showed me his stage and light design, and it looks absolutely killer. It will be huge."

Comments about the show

Tobias Sammet commented before the show:"I am in a hotel in Berlin, waiting for the show, having gallons of snot flowing out of my nose. INTERESTING, I know ;) ... Gotta treat my hay-fever now! ;) Just met Ronnie & Eric, they're alive!"

Brigitte commented about the show: "They changed in set list after 'Reach Out For The Light' they played 'Avantasia', so no 'Breaking Away'. Kiske had a few problems at the end of seven angels, but was still great. The concert hall inner field was half filled and the sitting places the same, so maybe 800 people. They often had to motivate the audience. Tobi changed and start to talk to English, since he noticed most people came from Australia, Poland, Scotland and England." Matt Chapman said about the show: "Best Avantasia gig ever. One of the best gig I've ever been to as well!" Robert commented: The show of 3-hours of Avantasia have been the biggest thing in the universe."
