Information Avantasia at MPH Arena, Ludwigsburg

Avantasia new tour consisted in three different parts, one it started in April, as headliner indoor tour where they played around a 3-hour set, then they played in some festivals later in South America and Asia for late summer.

Open doors at 19:00, show starts at 20:00.

The venue has capacity for 5,325 people. About 3,500 people.

Tobias: "I wanna put on the biggest thing you have ever seen, I wanna bring more vocalists, play longer shows, and just make it a giant Rock Opera. Due to embracing all of the different eras and history of AVANTASIA these shows will have an extended playing time, and the whole evening will be dedicated to Avantasia with no support acts. The stage designer has just showed me his stage and light design, and it looks absolutely killer. It will be huge."

There's an after show party / meet&greet at the Rockfabrik, so come see us!" and Tobias Sammet: "Ludwigsburg - we're getting ready!!!!!!! :) We all got hay fever, but who cares... You'll sing along anyway! See ya on stage."

We heard many 'Kiske, Kiske' calls when he first entered the stage and this was a little surprise, since we only know this from South America and Southern Europe. Ludwigsburg really rocked." Tammi Schub published on twitter : "Yeah this is what Tobias meant about a long show! I'm tired! It was an amazing show!" Oliver Theib commented: "Whow! What an overwhelming amazing awesome bombastic epic show of the Avantasia ensemble! Nothing left to play after 3 hours!"
