Tobias: "I wanna put on the biggest thing you have ever seen, I wanna bring more vocalists, play longer shows, and just make it a giant Rock Opera. Due to embracing all of the different eras and history of AVANTASIA these shows will have an extended playing time, and the whole evening will be dedicated to Avantasia with no support acts. The stage designer has just showed me his stage and light design, and it looks absolutely killer. It will be huge."

Comments about the show

Heather commented: "Man, three hours for a show is way too damn long. Sorry Tobi, I get what you're trying to do but it drags like crazy this way. Oh and the lighting guy can go away. This was the worst light setup ever. Maybe it had something to do with where I was but taking pictures was absolute hell half of the time. They have these strobe lights behind the drumset and every one drowns out my photos. Same with Ronnie Atkins. Just go the hell away and be done with it. You messed up Jorn's parts enough for a lifetime. Tobi or Michael should never leave the stage and let others do a multi-singing song. The Wicked Symphony was completely off time. But beyond all of that, Michael was outstanding in everything he sang. I finally got to hear him sing "Farewell" live. Michael was at the end of 'The Scarecrow'." Martina Elenova wrote me an email: "Hey! The show was nice, I loved Kiske voice in Farewell, I had not idea he will sing there, it was a great surprise! top level!" A. Obrevo published on his twitter account: "Congratulations Tobias did it again! amazing show and very long!"

Tobias Sammet commented: "What a show last night: I've never played a place that was more packed than the Z7 last night. Awesome! Thank you Switzerland & C U tonight!"
