Information Unisonic bootleg 'Shining Throne' Shinagawa Prince Stellar Ball, Tokyo 2014 1st night

This bootleg is a mix: Michael Kiske's monitor in-Ear plus Audience recording.

Released by the Japanese label Metal Hammer. Catalogue number: Metal Hammer-168.

This 2CD package includes both shows in Tokyo. September 2rd and 3rd.

Press release statement contains this information:

(Content: Sept 2&3, 2014 at Shinagawa Stellar Ball, Source: IEM+AUD Matrix)
Shinagawa Stella Ball shows on Sept 2nd & 3rd are completely captured by high-quality audience recording and IEM+AUD matrix recording, which mixed label’s original high-quality 24 bit audience recording from front row and uncompressed line source from Michael Kiske’s in-ear monitor.

Note that the sound source till the track 4 “Never Too Late” on the first day is audience recording only, without IEM.

This show was held as a joint tour with Edguy. Only 2 years after their previous visit to Japan, Unisonic has been working actively, including a release of the new album.

The setlist consist of their songs released in the past 2 years and Helloween classics, “March Of Time” and “I Want Out”. Length of the shows are a little less than 80 min on both days, compact but satisfactory.

Quality 1-10

1st night: 9-9,5
2nd night: 9,5-10

Comments about the bootleg

About the first night: This bootleg is similar to "Tokyo 1st Night" taped at Shibuya-AX, Tokyo in 2012. The mix is based on the ear monitor source but they also used an audience source to level up the volume from other instruments and the audience 'feel'. In the bootleg of 2012 they used a different mix with less importance of the Audience recording.

There is also a difference between the first 4 songs and the rest of the show. They used the Audience source more than ear monitor source, I guess it was not working well until the 5th song. In fact, the 4th song 'Never Too Late' they used the Audience source only. But everything changes since the 5th track 'Your Time Has Come', there is the ear monitor source with clear voice and vocals on top.

This bootleg also includes the 2nd night but I included it in another file: Shinagawa Prince Stellar Ball, Tokyo, Japan 2nd night.
